How The Crabapple Post treats what reaches it: mail, reading habits and the absence of tracking.
What the site collects
The Crabapple Post is a static journal. The site itself sets no cookie, runs no tracker, keeps no analytics account and builds no profile of its readers. Pages are served as files; reading them leaves no trace with the journal.
Writing to contact@artworley.com sends the journal your message and your address. Both are used to answer you and, when the subject belongs to everyone, to file an entry, never to build a list. No message is sold, shared or added to a mailing system. A reader who asks has their mail deleted.
Server logs
Like every site, the host that serves these pages keeps technical connection logs (address, time, requested page) for a short operational window. The journal does not read them for editorial purposes and does not combine them with anything else.
Links outward
The survey links to other publications and to public sources named at the foot of each entry. Once you follow a link, that site's own rules apply, the journal chooses its links carefully but answers only for its own pages.
Changes
If this note changes, the new version carries its date and the old understanding stays true for mail received before it.
